美国本科最大网申系统开放，附新加入院校名单

美国本科最大的网申系统——Common Application全面开放了！
想要申请2022年美本入学的同学/家长，可以行动啦~
Common Application是美国本科申请三大网申系统之一，也是目前美国大学申请使用人数最多的系统之一，每年超过100万学生通过该系统在线申请大学。
除了Common Application，还有CSSA申请系统和UC大学申请系统，中国学生很喜欢的加州大学系统就是要通过UC大学申请系统申请了，以后有时间嘉华君再给大家科普UC大学申请系统，今天主要讲的是Common Application！

使用Common Application申请的一个好处是，一表多用，无需重复多次资料填写！即申请人只需要填写一份申请表，包括标化成绩（SAT/ACT）、文书、推荐信、活动经历等，就可以申请多所大学。
此前，Common Application官方宣布2021-2022申请季部分板块会做出调整。比如：
1、文书第4题有改动，变成“Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?”
①Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
②The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
③Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?
④Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?
⑤Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
⑥Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?
⑦Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.
2、为了适应越来越多样化的学生，减少偏见或歧视，Common Application决定修改部分个人信息问题。
比如：公民身份的选项中，“Other (non-US)” 替换成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 两个选项。
删除父母和兄弟姐妹相关问题，父母的职业、学历、就业情况相关问题设置为Optional。
性别描述部分，用词从 “sex” 改成 “legal sex”。
同时，Common Application官网也更新了在新申请季中，加入到Common Application的成员名单——
